IN THE EYE OF THE STORM
The mapping of the Arab world in remembrance of Dr Ghazi Al Gosaibi’s marks a statement in honor of his legacy towards his nation.
It is a tribute to the most important newspaper article written in the most difficult of times. “In the Eye of the Storm” was a column that shed light on the difficult and turbulent times during the Gulf war. Read by a nation awaiting to unfold through the line of thoughts of a man who with his words and analysis captured both a critical assessment and a huge sense of belonging to a nations’ unity.
His words through his poetry and books are still alive and with us until present day. “In the Eye of the Storm” is a visual representation that aims to unify our nations against the storms, our national flags standing tall and strong.
Between the sea and land that unite us, we hold on to our core values of belonging. I believe this is the most important element that can protect us against any storm.
